Christmas in Athens

The Gill family arrived in Athens on Sunday December 21st with 4 adults, 2 babies, 3 bags, 2 car seats and a backpack to celebrate Christmas with us in our 2 bedroom apartment. Yes, we had a very close family Christmas this year but everybody loved it and had a great time!

Our Christmas tree after Agios Vasillis (Greek Santa Clause) visited.

Agios Vasillis also left goodies in everybody's slippers.

While we considered giving the "kids" the Santa hats this year, Jeremy and Meredith decided they were still a little young.

Ollie loved her first Christmas morning and finally meeting her Aunt Meredith and Uncle Rich.

Candy cane Bryce also had a great time. He couldn't stand still when he came out and saw that Santa (Agios Vasillis) had come over night. He said "Wooooooow" followed by a lot of little dances and pointing and talking to everybody before attacking the bows!

Grandpa and Nana were happy to have everybody together.

Uncle Rich got lots of time with his niece Ollie.

Jeremy and Margo got the kids all dressed up to go out to dinner the last night in Athens.

Since the weather was nice on our early Christmas day, we walked down to the local playground so that Bryce could run around. He loved the slide and tried a seesaw with Nana for the first time.

One of Bryce's favorite presents was his Swiss Chocolate Coin from Aunt Meredith and Uncle Rich. He got to eat it for New Years and didn't share a bite of it....he went straight to the bathtub when he was finished!!

we had such a great time and we couldn't have had better hosts. Bryce is currently having chocolate withdrawal and princess Olympia is catching up on sleep.

Hey guys,
thanks for the lovely Christmas card! Mum and Dad say hi and Merry Christmas too. We would love to visit you there and know you're welcome to stay with us anytime you want to give Wollongong some loving too (less exciting than Greece I know, but still fun =-)). Hope all is well. Are you guys on skype? If so I'd love to chat. Love you lots,
Weeze
