Setting Sail for Mykonos

Monday morning we got up early to begin our 4 day cruise of the Greek islands and Turkey. After an extremely crazy cab ride where the man actually fit all of us and all of our stuff into one cab, we made it to the ship, Ocean Countess.

Once we got underway and were heading to Mykonos, we had our mustering drill. They brough Bryce his own special life vest since he was by far the youngest passenger on the ship.

After cruising for several hours and exploring the boat, we docked in Mykonos for a few hours of walking through the main town, Mykonos Town.

We stopped at the edge of little Venice where you could see the famous windmills in the background.

The windmills and edge of Little Venice.

This time we found a nice German couple to take our picture.

The ladies enjoying the view.

Jeremy and Margo liked showing us all how different in height they are.

Since we were in Mykonos for the very start of the tourist season, they were still working on the white walls and painting the grout between the sidewalk stones white. It really was amazing how WHITE and BLUE everything was.

Just after sunset it was time for us to say goodbye to Mykonos and set sail for Kusadasi, Turkey.
